Does this install cleanly alongside a "production" Python 2.3? Ie, will it leave the meaning of the "python" command, and command line associations for .py files, etc, unchanged?
No, it changes the associations for .py files. It would be useful to have the option to create no associations. As a workaround, installing the MSI file, and afterwards simply reinstalling python-2.3.3.exe seems to work fine. Thomas
