Yep. I was digging through list archives and stumbled upon this idea several times (both for namedtuple and for OrderedDict). It's not a terrible idea, but definitely overkill, IMHO. In the one case where Guido gave his opinion, he gave a -100. :) I figured I'd throw it out there for April 1st. I guess without more context the idea is less obviously bad. Maybe I should have just picked a stinkier idea. <wink> -eric
