I am about to merge in some pretty big changes of the internals (I will post a summary here), and then I may have some time to address this. So, if things go well, it might be fixed within a month.

I do have a workaround for the bug (essentially using increasingly larger values of close_limit until no results are NaN or a pre-defined maximum value of close_limit is reached). So, I'm not in trouble if this doesn't get fixed. =)
