Python tutorial by Guido Van Rossum is a good start. Also, Dive into
Python, is a good book which introduces web programming concepts, regular
expressions and few more concepts in Python in a bit more detail. You can
find these two by googling. Apart from that, O'Reilly publication's Python
cookbook is a very good reference as far as I have found.
