one nit: the RSS feed seems to be broken; it seems to contain
HTML stuff mixed in with the RSS data:

here's what wget gives me:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!-- name="generator" content="PyPI/1.0" -->
<!DOCTYPE rss PUBLIC "-//Netscape Communications//DTD RSS 0.91//EN" "http://my.n
<rss version="0.91">
  <title>PyPI recent updates</title>
  <description>Updates to the Python Packages Index (PyPI)</description>
Status: 500 Internal Server Error
Content-Type: text/html

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<?xml-stylesheet href="http://www.python.org/style.css" type="text/css"?>
<html><head><title>Python Packages Index</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<meta name="generator" content="HT2HTML/2.0">
<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://www.python.org/pics/pyfav.gif">
<link rel="STYLESHEET" href="http://www.python.org/style.css" type="text/css">
<link rel="STYLESHEET" href="http://mechanicalcat.net/pypi.css" type="text/css">
<body bgcolor="#ffffff" text="#000000"
      marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"
      link="#0000bb"  vlink="#551a8b"

I'm also having serious problems setting trove classifiers for my
contributions, but that's probably my fault.
