I will be coming up with some strict timelines for each lightening
talk. Literally, we are going to stop-watch these talks. When time
is up... the speaker must sit down.
The presenter can do whatever they want for the most of that time.
However, there are a couple of questions they must answer. I will be
making a list and sending this directly to those talking, shortly. It
may also be best to have each talker not use a computer. It would be
cooler to have someone fill out rows (one per languages) with those
questions as columns and project this instead. We will end up with a
language comparison spreadsheet.
Yeah, this will be a bit of a mess. But, it will be fun. Sure there
may be some flames, but think we can keep these contained burns. Let's
see how it goes. Perhaps it will be a huge mess or our best meeting
yet... I am willing to take that chance.
I certainly see where we can roll this into separate ChiPy meetings on
two languages per in the future.
