[Chicago] How did you learn Python?

I am self taught. I started w an intro book, I think it was by Hetland. After that, I would just google a topic and read about it online.
One book that really stands out is "Dive into Python". It is available, for free, online - http://www.diveintopython.org/ . I think a new version is coming out. It is so good, it is worth buying.
I also learn a lot from this group. Whenever a topic comes up that I know nothing about, I google it to get background info and then follow the thread. I am impressed by the quality of the discussions on this group.
