BTW, Who has taken shop class in high school? Shops, be it machine or wood,
used to be commonplace in schools but have been replaced with computer
labs. Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry Into the Value of
Work<http://www.amazon.com/Shop-Class-Soulcraft-Inquiry-Value/dp/1594202230/>an
interesting book on the value of work that comes from working,
building,
and repairing something with one's hands. It's a bit of antithesis for
working in code, but rallying call for the Maker movement.
