Dear Dance Community,
Please check out the schedule for this festival - it's truly awesome! And
Baltimore dance improvisers will be participating in two of the street
events:
CASH MOVEMENT, Friday, Sept. 5 at 6:30pm - Cathy Paine (dance) and John
Berndt (reeds) will improvise a cash flow duet in the ATM lobby of the
Charles St. Bank of America.
ACTION AT A DISTANCE, Sunday Sept. 7 at 11:00am - Jayne Bernasconi, Anna
Dikeman, Sandy Lacy, Naoko Maeshiba, Cathy Paine, Julie Peoples, Sarah Seely
and Vincent Thomas will collaborate with 8-10 musicians in Patterson Park in
an exciting free-for-all improvisation, with the performers so far apart
they can barely perceive each other.
SAVE THE DATE!
The 5th Anniversary High Zero Festival of Improvised music is only two weeks
away, with a program of street performances and sound installations running
from August 29th-September 7th, and a concentrated four days of performances
(Thursday-Sunday night; Saturday Day) at The Theatre Project in Baltimore.

Save the date, spread the word, and don't miss what promises to be an
amazing, socially liberatory, and mind expanding cultural event with 30
amazing musicians from Baltimore, North America and Europe and many other
collaborators and performers.
This year's fest is the broadest and most ambitious to date, and we feel
completely confident that High Zero is emerging as one of the strongest
experimental music festivals in the country.
We hope to see you out on the streets of Baltimore, in the haunting sound
installations, and at The Theatre Project for some amazing times & music!
Advance tickets are available from The Theatre Project via phone at
