                     East Coast Fall Contact Jam
                    Claymont Court, West Virginia

              5 pm October 1st to 2pm October 5th, 2003

Claymont Court is a 150 year old estate featuring 369 acres of woods,
fields, and farmland.  Near Harper¹s Ferry W.Va, it is 60 miles from
Washington DC, yet offers a quiet retreat in which to explore, dance, create
and find new inspirations for movement and growth.

We stay in a beautiful mansion, bake in a soothing sauna and dance in an
octagonal, wood floored barn.  We will rise, eat a marvelous breakfast and
wander through the woods to the dance space.  We will dance eat sleep walk
talk play dream conspire fly sauna wander back and eat a wonderful lunch.
Then we'll go back and dance sing inhale create inspire jump trust sunbathe
toss roll stretch move imagine make contact float sauna breathe saunter over
to the mansion for more glorious food, then we'll ...

We are:

a consensus group meeting to share Contact Improvisation and gourmet
vegetarian food in an atmosphere of acceptance and support, while surrounded
by great natural beauty. Past Jam activities have included: stretching,
relaxation, emotional release, exploration of social issues, examination of
prejudices and exercises in trust. We also have a performance night, a
boogie dance, some naps.  Workshops are born out of our shared ideas,
experiences, with a spirit of experimentation and spontaneity.  Your ideas
for workshops and scores are welcomed and encouraged!
