Hey Dancers,

Well, it is happening as announced!

And we want you!!!

2013 AUGUST ASHEVILLE JAM

Friday - Sunday, Aug 2-4



Friday night Registration/Opening circle, warm-up, jam

Saturday morning classes: beginner-intermediate Contact; Flying class

Lunch provided

Saturday afternoon warm-up and open jam (dinner on your own in beautiful
downtown Asheville)

Saturday evening informal performance followed by large group improv and
jamming into the night!

And if that is not enough dancing, we resume Sunday 11-2 with introduction
to Underscore (participants must attend talk-through at 11am or have
previous "Underscore" experience); Underscore concludes with closing circle
bringing the jam to its conclusion.



Please SAVE THE DATES and send us a note when you know you will be joining
us so we can begin to get a head count. More details in our next mailing.

$60 Student rate (full-time student or those unemployed)

$75 Regular rate (employed including self-employed)

$90 Professional rate (Pay this if you can)

À La Carte - bits and pieces of Aug Jam (at the door only):

Friday Night Jam only – $10-15, sliding scale

Saturday Morning classes – $22 per class

Saturday lunch – $12

Saturday afternoon Jam (does not include the evening jam) – $10-15, sliding
scale

Saturday evening Performance only $5

Evening Jam following performance $10-15, sliding scale

Sunday Underscore – $10-15, sliding scale

  (Participants must attend talk-through at 11am or have
previous "Underscore" experience.)

effectively plan this event.

OUT-OF-TOWNERS:

You are Welcome!!  Come one, come all!!

We can help you with housing here in the homes of local dancers.  Please
pre-register and indicate you need housing; we'll work it out for you.



THE FINE PRINT:   Regarding product sales at the Aug Jam:  If you have
items of interest to contact improv dancers (generally clothing) that you
would like to sell at the Aug Jam, please contact the organizers in
advance.  We have limited space available for vendors, and may not be able
to say yes to everyone, so it is important you let us know well ahead of
time.

Cancellation Policy:

•   If the whole event is canceled, we will refund your entire registration
fee.  If we cancel an event part-way through, we will pro-rate your refund.

•   If you withdraw from an event more than two weeks before the event, we
will fully refund you.

•   If you cancel within two weeks of the event, you may choose to either
receive 75% of your fees back, or apply 100% of your balance to a future
ACJ event.

•   If you have to cancel due to a hardship (such as illness, injury, or
family emergency), please contact the registrar and explain your situation
to be considered for a hardship refund.
