yes that' the plan, but the first release might be a "bug-free" clone
of the current
setuptool 0.6 branch, containing everything, before we start to split
it, in various
distributions.

I agree with the fact that "setutptools2" is too close, I said I'd
change because I don't care

So here's my suggestion:
I'll keep the "distribute" name unless someone comes up with a better
name here before the first release,
followed by more than 4 : "+1".
(I need to figure out a bikeshedding resolver process, that may help
for distutils discussions too ;) )
