Am I the only one who sees a inherent contradiction in these kinds of
efforts???
If we accept that the gatekeepers for the OLPC educational software have
a distinct educational philosophy ---
the question then becomes why Python??
In the context of that educational philosophy, the answer is "no good
reason".
But if our efforts represent a *different* educational philosophy - to
me they necessarily do if they see Python as central
- how does it get past the gatekeepers.???]
