I have personally felt that having a presentation remote device with a
laser pointer is so much useful to the speaker. It allows more freedom
of movement to the speaker, and thereby allows a more interactive
session for speakers who know how to utilise it.

We may not even have to purchase these devices for the conference. We
can source them from those who are willing to loan them out, as long as
we can ensure that they are returned safely at the end of the conference.
