Yes. Though the auto save might not trigger if the notebook is really not changed.

Probably, have a look at Jupyterhub:
https://github.com/jupyter/jupyterhub
Which is multi-user in a ro/rw fashion.
you can also add an extension that auto reaload for the "reader"
Hope that helps until we have true live collaboration.
