My apologies.  Your message hit me at a bad time, but I've now gone
back and seen your messages.

I'd be thrilled to have you work on the Portuguese translations.  I
have your tarball dated 2-Jul-2002 which I will now install, and
update all the proper Makefile machinery to add the `pt' language.
Please feel free to send me updates as they become available.  I'll be
much more timely about installing them.

Also, if it works better for you to have cvs access to commit your pt
updates directly, let me know.
