[Mailman-Users] slow admin access.

Hi - I just setup mailman, but I am having troubles getting into the admin
pages for the list. 

The url : xx.xx.com/mailman/admin/listname 

is really slow in bringing up a password box, one it does I enter the
password and wait until my browser gives up.

any ideas on what may be causing this? I am using beta5 with python 1.5.2
on RedHat Linux.
