That's probably the case-sensitivity problem.  On the Privacy Options page,
there is an option for "Alias names (regexps) which qualify as explicit to or
cc destination names for this list."  Put a regexp in that which allows any
case mixture of the list name.  For example, if the list is named "testlist",
the regexp here would be "[Tt][Ee][Ss][Tt][Ll][Ii][Ss][Tt]".  Everyone tells
me that this isn't needed, but it's the only way I've gotten lists to work
correctly.
