[Mailman-Users] How to configure apache to give cgi-bin to run CGI script?

I am new to using linux and need to set up a list serv.  I have mandrake
8.0 server, apache and postfix running.  I have setup Mailman up to the
point where it says to configure your web server to give $prefix/cgi-bin
permission to run CGI scripts.  Where and how do I do this.  Thanks.
