[Mailman-Users] Passwords are mandatory??

Hello all.
Is there a possibility to turn off passwords for mailman list members?
For some auditories, where people tend to not deal with computers
well, forget passwords, loose welcome emails or just too lazy, the
passwords become just the pain in the ass. Could someone advise?
