Well, it's not fixed... and no matter how many times I run update, one
list still doesn't report back that update's already been run.  But
check_db says it's databases are fine.

Could this list be the whole problem?  And if so, what's the problem?  The
timing of the error would suggest to me that it could be nothing but a
permissions problem, but I'm almost positive all that's fixed.

Any more clues would be great.
