[Mailman-Users] dns question.....cjk

hello.
i read the readme.qmail for mailman installation on qmail and i did gave a 
CNAME in my DNS zone.My question is that do i have to give A (address) for 
the same name?Because i tried with an account from AOL to subscribe to my 
list and the email come back....
