[Mailman-Users] Multiple domains are easy to do ?

I was wondering why we had discuss the problem, that mailman
doesn't support multiple domains ?

In the general options exists the host_name field.
If I changed the domain this takes effect immediately.
In the moment I don't have configured my MTA right, but I will
do some test on a test-machine and I'am sure that it will work,
If I change the default_hostname to a local maildomain 
(which have no DNS-Record).

Or I'am missing something ?
