[Mailman-Users] post failures !

right, my fault!

here's what the previous email lacked:
I'm
running red hat 7.1
mailman-2.0.1-2 with sendmail-8.11.2-14

pine is working on any external domains. so i suppose that sendmail accepts
what mailman would need to deliver external accounts.
sending anything to a local email, there's no log line in the logs/post
file. only if external users post anything, there's a line, but if an
external user wants to join the e.g the test-list, the test-request fails.

the /var/mailman/logs/post file:
============
Sep 16 13:26:01 2001 (19082) post to users from li.st at gmx.net,
size=2265, success
Sep 18 12:33:14 2001 (30862) post to test from
test-request at liland.org, size=735, 1 failures
Sep 18 16:55:37 2001 (32171) post to test from
test-request at liland.org, size=735, 1 failures
============

the /var/mailman/logs/smtp file:
============
Sep 18 12:32:50 2001 (30856) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 5.385 seconds
Sep 18 12:33:14 2001 (30862) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 11.580 seconds
Sep 18 16:55:37 2001 (32171) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 0.201 seconds
Sep 19 08:42:02 2001 (4493) smtp for 1 recips, completed in 0.088 seconds
============

the problem is, that there is'nt any mail within the sendmail que, although
mailman requests a failure. how can i track the mail.

the relevant /etc/sendmail.cf file sections:
============
# Alias for this host
Cwliland.org
Cwlocalhost ganimed.liland.org smtp.liland.org
Fw/etc/mail/sendmail.cw
# Virtual email domain
# who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading)
DMliland.org
# Smart host
DS
# Use this mailer to reach the Smart host
DNsmtp
# Central host for local mail
DHsmtp.liland.org
============

thx for any hint.

michael.
