[Mailman-Users] Associating name with email address?

Mailman experts,
    One of the owners of a list inquired as to whether it was possible to 
associate a full name with a subscribers email address.  It wasn't obvious 
to me that this was possible.  If it is, how does one associate a full name 
with their subscribed email address?
