[Mailman-Users] news authentication, xposts (2.1b2)

Hi everyone.  I have two questions about the news gateway in 2.1b2.

1.  In mm_cfg.py I need to set up the username and password for 
authentication on the nntp host.  I am using the NNTP_USERNAME and 
NNTP_PASSWORD variables, but I am not sure if I should put the values in 
single or double quotes.  So which of the following is correct?

         NNTP_USERNAME = 'username'
or      NNTP_USERNAME = "username"

2.  Is crossposting now supported?  I found a posting to this list from 
2000 that talks about why it is not possible in 2.0.x, but I was wondering 
if 2.1 is now capable of this.
