hi, i just installed mailman. seems to be a better solution than the good old majordomo. 
i also read the faq but did not find the following:

i have a list with many members, but want only 3 or 4 persons to be able to post on 
that list but also moderated to make it more complicated for spammers to send an 
email over the list.

the only way i found was to allow ALL users to send moderated. but that's no good, 
because ei HAVE to approve or disapprove lots of non-authorized emails.
