To unsubscribe from the mailman-users list send a text based email to
mailman-users-request at python.org then in the body of the message simply put:
  unsubscribe <your email address>

You should receive a confirmation email in a few minutes.  You can also go
to the listinfo WebPages for the list and then enter your name and your
password and unsubscribe that way.

If you don't know your password, don't despair their is link off that page
that will mail your password to you.
