[Mailman-Users] Mailman list sending attachments

I think I've noticed that when a user on aol sends mail to a list, mailman
creates its footer as an attachment to the message instead of inline.

Why is this?

I would guess due to aol appearing to send html messages.  So, would the
answer to this problem be to use content filtering to convert the message to
text/plain?
