Not sure if this will work with your version of Mailman, but see

You may also want to install an anti-spam processing system on
your server -- you could either incorporate this directly into your
MTA, or you could try the alternative at
<http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq04.023.htp>.
