SOLVED but strange? Re: [Mailman-Users] Getting the subscriber list

If I go to a list admin page and login, and then simply replace admin with 
roster, it DOESN'T work.  But if I first visit one of the admin pagesafter 
logging in, and then replace admin with roster, it works.
