Check the shebang line at the top of the script.

#! /usr/bin/env python

This is an attempt to run python in a system independent way, but it
relies on the presence of /usr/bin/env which apparently is missing or
in a different place on your system.

You can replace the whole thing with

#! /path/to/python

if you prefer.
