As far as I know, you can set up Postfix and Mailman using hash tables
for Mailman's aliases as described at
<http://www.list.org/mailman-install/node13.html> (mirror at
<http://mailman.sourceforge.net/mailman-install/node13.html>)
regardless of whether or not you are using MySQL for other purposes in
Postfix.

Is there some reason why you don't want to do this?
