Deleting a message from the archive after the fact is a pain. See
<http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq03.003.htp>.

However, if you put either of the headers

X-No-Archive:

or

X-Archive: No

in a message to the list, it won't be archived in the first place.
