I don't know what the value of DEFAULT_URL_HOST is but I'm sure your
problem is the line above -

add_virtualhost('HOSTNAME.gtwy.dcn')

This is equivalent to

add_virtualhost('HOSTNAME.gtwy.dcn', 'gtwy.dcn')

Just remove that line, and if the value of DEFAULT_URL_HOST is not
'HOSTNAME.gtwy.dcn' from Defaults.py, set it here as in

DEFAULT_URL_HOST = 'HOSTNAME.gtwy.dcn'
DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST = 'HOSTNAME.gtwy.dcn'
add_virtualhost(DEFAULT_URL_HOST, DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST)
