Our ISP, uunet, had a serious name server failure yesterday for some of
its clients, and our mail queue got pretty screwed up in the process.
The upshot is that some messages sent to python.org mailing yesterday
lists morning may not have made it out to some or even most of the
recipients. (And some recipients, particularly cnri local ones, may
have gotten 2 to 5 copies of the messages!) If you're unsure, you may
want to try retransmitting a message you sent during that period. In
any case, be sure to cite enough when responding to such a message to
give context for those that may not have gotten the original.
