Also note that a big event.log eats away cpu like hell.

When the request object refactoring is finished, it becomes viable. 
Then there's still the point of doing async friendly processing, but we 
could add a request._yield() hook or something.

Also, when we move to py 2.2, we can use the real yield in many places.
