[Moin-user] email notifcations: Not sent?

Hello,


Running 1.8 under CGI w/ HTTPauth, and would like notification for each change made.

The config file has these lines:
    
mail_smarthost = "127.0.0.1"
mail_from = u"auser at thedomain.com"

I also tried: mail_smarthost = "127.0.0.1:25"

The notification page regex box has this entry:
..*

However, I am not receiving any notifications, or even indications of such.  

A simple CGI connecting to 127.0.0.1 can send mail just fine.

Is there another config option i need to flip?
