[Pygui] responding to applescript events?

Hello all,

I was thinking of writing a python-based program that would respond to
applescripts, beyond the open and quit commands.

Does anybody know what I would have to do to get that sort of support
working in PyGUI?

I'm only interested in developing for the Mac, obviously.
