Indeed. On the other hand, this issue is minor enough that it's not
worth walking away from the community over; walk away if you no longer
use Python, or if it's not fun any more, or if the tenor of the
community changes. Not because of one particular bad feature; GvR's
added bad features before, but we've survived.
(I should be thankful, really, since the >>None feature means more
material for my Python warts page.)
