[Python-Dev] HP-UX clean-up

You have my support!  This has always been a problem because we could
never find people who had (a) good developer-style access to HP-UX and
(b) enough understanding of Python to be able to debug it.  Hopefully
you qualify for both; for (b) python-dev can act as a crutch. :-)
