It appears python is already python3 for a large majority of human users 
(as opposed to machines).

"Which version of Python do you use the most"
Python 3: 75% in 2017, 84% in 2018. The figure for other public surveys 
were 22%, 34%, 40% in Dec 2013, Dec 2014, Jan 2016. I expect at least 
90% by next January.  Py3 is already 90% among data scientists.
