no problem here. this just reminds me of when some-
one thrashed Python over at comp.lang.dylan, and I did
the big mistake of pointing out that Python, in its own
way, addresses many of the same issues as Dylan:

the result was a huge pile of extremely aggressive mail
in my mailbox, calling me a lot of interesting things. the
general idea seemed to be that I was too stupid to even
touch Dylan with a stick, so I decided to do as they said,
and stay here in Python land (if I had thicker skin, I would
probably use Dylan or Common Lisp or Perl instead...)
on the other hand, if you haven't received any such
mails, at least Python's got a more well-behaved news-
group ;-)
