JPython edit Component?

I just wondered if anyone had made a Java Component for editing Python -
i.e. a TextArea or something with indentation,
and preferrably with some rudimentary Emacs key-bindings... Possibly even a
JTextArea (or something) with
syntax coloring... And even an interactive shell would be nice... It would
be cool to have some IDLE-like functionality
(at least the basics) available in Java programs using JPython as an
extension language etc.

If someone has done something like this, or is interested in cooperating
with me in doing it, then sound off! :)
