dynamic classes/objects and the like

Hi all,
I am actually planning on using some dynamic classes and objects in my
application..looking at

http://starship.python.net/crew/gandalf/DNET/classes/DynaObj.html

it seems just a tad dated(1.4)...although I can't think of how different
something else would be , there isn't a more recent generally accepted
way to do this kind of thing is there?

Are there any examples of more large applications that rely on on
dynamic classes / objects that I could look at to avoid a possible
hitherto unseen pitfalls?
