Versionstamp script included with PythonWin

Hello all,

I found a script called verstamp.py under python\win32\scripts\VersionStamp,
which looks like a part of the win32 package from Mark Hammond. This script
makes it possible to give an exe or a dll a version stamp. Does anyone knows
if this works for reading the version stamp or did someone already made a
module for that?
