zope, python vs apache, perl

Well that's mostly a philosophical question. I'm not very
good in philosophy. What I can tell you is that you can use:

Apache as a web server, zope as an application server,
python and perl as development languages all together at
the same time.

So it's your lucky day you don't have to make a choice.

(I'm not sure if perl methods is already working with zope,
but DC is working in that direction).
