Java vs Python

with its low-level datatypes and pointers is effectively a replacement
for assembly.

	OTOH, a lot of the DEC VAX software was built in BLISS.

	There is also the UCSD P-System.

	And to scare folks, Ada Core Technologies is working on created
JGNAT (a version of GNAT that produces JVM object code). Now that could
get... strange... Ada and Python joining via Java?
