Pythonwin does not run on my machine

No problem. You can get Pythonwin from:
http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Downloads/ActivePython/Extensions/Win32
all

One thing that you might want to consider is just downloading
ActivePython:
http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Downloads/ActivePython

ActivePython has a nice installer which includes core Python, the Python
Win32 extensions, Pythonwin, a network module installation system and
extensive documentation.
