TIX - How to envoke ??

I have just recently succeeded in installing Tix 8.2 and have tested it 
through the SHELL.

Under KDE I use the "ActiveState Komodo" interpreter.

I am not too sure how I let Komodo know that there is now a Tix module to 
be used.

Is it just a matter of using:

        import Tix

Or is there another method ??
